With over 20 years of experience in the hydraulics and earth-moving industries, Michael has built a career delivering high-performance solutions across Australia and internationally. He has held senior leadership roles, including Sales & Hose Facility Manager at Parker and National Hydraulics Manager at Sunway, and has contributed to global sourcing initiatives as part of the Sunway Trade & Manufacturing team, giving him deep expertise in operational excellence and international supply chains.

As a multi-business owner and Managing Director of MASTERHOSE, Michael is passionate about expanding product ranges, driving innovation, and delivering cost-effective, reliable solutions for mining, heavy industry, and earth-moving sectors. His combined experience in leadership, global sourcing, and hands-on industry work ensures clients receive innovative, practical solutions that perform in the toughest environments.

David Russell

Sales Manager

Dave is Masterhose’s Sales Manager and brings extensive industry experience across both industrial hose and fittings and the hydraulic sector. He has over 10 years’ experience in the industrial hose and fittings industry and more than 25 years in the hydraulic industry, with a strong background in managing large teams and driving sales performance.

Throughout his career, Dave has held state and national sales management roles, giving him a deep understanding of customer requirements across a wide range of industries. His leadership experience, combined with strong product knowledge, enables him to build long-term customer relationships and deliver practical, results-driven sales solutions. Dave is known for his industry insight, leadership capability, and customer-focused approach, and plays a key role in supporting Masterhose’s continued growth and market presence.

Blake Meecham

Operations Manager

Blake began his career in the hose and fittings industry in 2018 as a Trade Assistant with Hosemart, where he spent four years progressing through a range of key roles including Purchasing Officer, Internal Sales, and Workshop Leading Hand. During this time, he developed a strong technical foundation in hydraulic and industrial hoses, fittings, identification, diagnostics, and workshop operations.

After building his technical expertise, Blake moved into the oil and gas sector, taking on the role of Operations Manager. This experience broadened his skill set across high-pressure environments, quality control and team leadership. In 2025, Blake re-joined Masterhose as Operations Manager, bringing with him a well-rounded blend of hands-on hose knowledge and proven operational management experience. With over 8 years in the industry across both hydraulic and oil & gas applications, Blake is known for his practical problem-solving approach, extensive product knowledge, and commitment to delivering reliable, high quality solutions for customers.

Jason Ng

Inventory Manager

Jason joined Masterhose in 2023 and has built strong practical knowledge of hydraulic and industrial hose products through hands-on workshop experience, including hose assembly and general trade support. He is recognised for his attention to detail, high level of customer service, and consistent, reliable approach to daily tasks.

Alongside his workshop role, Jason contributes to inventory control and internal systems, supporting stock accuracy, organisation, and process consistency. He brings over 15 years of experience across information technology, operations, and business management from previous roles, which supports a structured and methodical approach to his work. Jason is known for his organisation, accuracy, and strong work ethic, and plays a dependable role in maintaining efficient day-to-day operations across the workshop and warehouse.

Vince Tunevski

Warehouse Manager

Vince joined Masterhose in 2025 as Warehouse Manager and brings over seven years experience in warehousing within the hydraulic and industrial hose and fittings industry. He has a strong background in stock handling, quality assurance, and warehouse operations. Vince plays a crucial role in stock management, ensuring accuracy, organisation, and quality control across incoming and outgoing goods.

Known for his attention to detail and high standards, he helps maintain reliable inventory systems and efficient warehouse processes. With a practical, hands-on approach, Vince is a key part of maintaining smooth daily operations and ensuring stock is available, accurate, and fit for purpose.

Melissa Fernando

Accounts Manager

Melissa joined Masterhose in 2024 and works as the company’s Accounts Officer. She holds a double major in Accounting and Finance and brings five years of experience across accounting and finance roles. She supports the day-to-day financial operations of the business, with a strong focus on accuracy across accounts, invoicing, and internal financial processes.

Melissa plays an important role in maintaining financial consistency and supporting smooth business operations. Melissa is known for her attention to detail, reliability, and organised approach, and provides dependable support across Masterhose’s financial and administrative functions.
